Maddy is a genuinely kind, sweet natured mare with so much to like. She is the sort that is hard to find – sane, reliable, versatile and easy to enjoy, whilst still being quality enough to go out and compete. A lovely all-rounder with an excellent attitude to her work and a very willing temperament.

 

By Upton’s Deli Circus, an event stallion who competed up to Advanced level and was renowned for producing quality event horses with rideability, movement and genuine temperaments. Her dam sire is Rendene Romany Fiddler, with breeding fully recorded.

 

Maddy is a straightforward, easy going mare who is forward thinking without being sharp or silly. She is a comfortable, enjoyable ride who gives confidence and is very forgiving, making her suitable for a variety of riders and disciplines.She has competed in British Dressage up to and including Novice level, producing respectable scores and proving correct, willing and trainable on the flat. Alongside this she has done a bit of everything – eventing, unaffiliated showjumping, hunter trials, pleasure rides, beach rides and general riding club activities. There is very little she hasn’t seen or done.

A genuine jumper who happily jumps around courses of 90/100 with ease. She stays in a rhythm, is uncomplicated to a fence and is the type that will sort herself out if presented off a missed stride. Honest, genuine and very easy to ride round a course.For the past three years she has been owned and enjoyed by an amateur rider as an all-rounder and happy hacker. She has been much loved and sensibly used, and although she is older, she still has plenty left to give and is very much young at heart. Do not let her age put you off.

 

Maddy hacks alone and in company, is good in traffic and sensible in open spaces. She does really enjoy her hacking and is forward, worse case scenario she will jig jog after a good canter.

She is easy to have around and good to shoe, clip, catch and load.
