Aggie is a lovely quality mare with all the attributes to make a fantastic all-round riding horse or dressage prospect. Attractive, well put together and with a kind, genuine temperament, she is the sort that is easy to enjoy every single day.

 

Aggie has a lovely pedigree, by Free Spirit, a sire  that has produced a versatile progeny of showing horses, allrounders and eventers, giving rideability, quality and trainability, she is then  out of a mare by Country Top Gun, a stallion respected for passing on quality, athleticism and versatility, Aggie combines excellent breeding with a wonderfully sensible outlook.

 

She works in three correct, balanced paces and is a responsive ride who is nicely off the leg without being sharp. She is beautifully established on the flat, taking the contact well and producing an accurate, rhythmical way of going that would make her equally enjoyable for riding club activities or someone wishing to progress further in dressage.

 

Jumping has not been a major focus during her current ownership, as her owners have preferred hacking and flatwork. However, she has shown plenty of natural ability over a fence, happily jumping courses and schooling comfortably around 90cm to 1m with scope to progress. She did compete in the past but hasn’t for a while. 

 

Out hacking, Aggie is worth her weight in gold. She hacks confidently both alone and in company, is excellent in traffic, sensible in open spaces and is the sort of horse you can genuinely relax and enjoy. Whether it's a quiet lane or a fun day exploring the countryside, she is always a pleasure.

 

On the ground, she is exactly as you would hope. Good to catch, load, travel, shoe, clip and handle in every respect, she is an uncomplicated horse to own. She isn't mareish, doesn't have any quirks or hang-ups, and has a genuinely sweet, kind nature that makes her a favourite around the yard.

 

Aggie is a mare with quality, versatility and enormous potential. She has the flatwork to excel in dressage, the ability to develop into a smart jumping horse, and the temperament to be an outstanding all-round partner. Horses like her are increasingly difficult to find—talented, genuine and a pleasure both in and out of the saddle.

 

A really lovely mare who is ready to find a home where she can continue to flourish and be enjoyed.
