A striking chestnut gelding that really does stand out from the crowd! Fiji has presence, quality and plenty to get excited about. He’s the sort who takes a beautiful picture, but there’s much more to him than good looks!

By Foundation, out of Faside Rubin’s Black Magic, by Rubin Star N, his pedigree combines the Fidertanz and Rubinstein I lines. Lovely dressage breeding, and Fiji certainly looks to have read his own paperwork!

Fiji is broken and riding well, having been produced slowly and thoughtfully with his future in mind. He works beautifully in a natural uphill outline, with three very correct, balanced and expressive paces. There is a lovely rhythm to his work, and he carries himself with the presence that makes you stop and watch.

He has a willing attitude and a sensible, trainable brain. Not sharp or silly, he is taking his education in his stride and proving a lovely horse to work with. There’s plenty of quality here for someone with competition ambitions, alongside an attitude that makes the day-to-day training enjoyable.

Fiji is also hacking confidently, giving him a change of scenery and a rounded education alongside his schooling. He is kind and genuine on the ground, straightforward to handle and enjoys his routine.

The foundations are in place, and he is now ready for someone to start his competition career. He would suit a capable amateur or professional looking for a talented young dressage prospect to produce and enjoy.

A very smart gelding with movement, manners and plenty of potential — we’re rather looking forward to seeing this lad between the white boards!

His price will increase as his education progresses.
