A fabulous, genuine allrounder with an abundance of experience across a wide variety of disciplines. He is one of those wonderfully useful horses who can turn his hoof to almost anything—and do it with a smile on his face!

 

He has a fantastic temperament and is an absolute pleasure to have around. Kind, genuine and straightforward, he enjoys his work, wants to please and makes life very easy for his rider. He is equally lovely to handle on the ground and is the sort who quickly becomes a much-loved member of the family.

 

He has done a fair amount of dressage and has been placed at the Petplan Area Festival at Elementary level. He is an easy and uncomplicated ride on the flat, working willingly into a contact with established, correct work. He knows his job without being sharp or overly sensitive, making him enjoyable for someone wanting to compete while remaining straightforward enough for everyday riding.

 

He has also done plenty of unaffiliated showjumping and has a super jump. He is brave, forgiving and easy to a fence, helping his rider out if they don’t quite see the perfect stride. He comfortably jumps courses around 1m with scope to spare and is not the type to be worried by fillers, planks or anything else put in front of him.

 

Cross-country, he is brave, genuine and uncomplicated. He has schooled and trained over a good variety of fences, taking everything in his stride. He has also hunted and is a real sure-footed, capable type who will cross almost any country and tackle whatever is asked of him. He gives his rider a wonderful feeling of safety and confidence without being boring!

 

This lovely horse really is a pleasure to own and would suit a variety of riders. He could continue competing in dressage, showjumping or eventing, enjoy riding club activities, hunt, or become a very smart and experienced allrounder for someone wanting to enjoy a little bit of everything.

 

As with every horse, he does have a couple of points that must be disclosed. He suffers from seasonal allergies/hay fever and is nebulised twice weekly to manage this. A full veterinary report is available, and we are happy to discuss this openly with any genuinely interested purchaser.

 

He is currently unshod and is perfectly good to have his feet picked out and handled in everyday circumstances. However, he is distrustful of farriers and requires a small amount of Sedalin, used under veterinary guidance, for trimming.
