Maple is a really sought after type of horse. She has been part of the riding school at Elms Farm Riding Academy for the past 18 months, prior to this she was at trekking centre in Devon that had shut down. 

 

Maple has been a very reliable horse out hacking alone and in company, she is good in traffic, great in open spaces, happy to lead or go behind. She has been on beach and pleasure rides, trips to the forest etc. She has been a good weight carrier.

 

In the school Maple is happy to school and pop a few fences, she is not your stereotypical riding school horse, she is not dead to your leg, however I also would not class her as very forward going.

 

Maple is good to do on the ground, she has lived out all year round the whole of her life, and she does prefer to be out rather than in the stable. We will not be selling maple to anyone without access to turn out.

 

Maple is good to catch, clip, shoe, load etc. She is not marish, great with other horses and happy to live in a herd. 

 

Maple is for sale due to it coming to our attention that she is no longer enjoying the masses of schoolwork the riding school has progressed to doing.
