Duke is a fabulous stamp, that oozes presence and quality with a real work man like attitude!

 

Duke is registered with BSPA with all breeding recorded, he is by Hollyland O’Donavan who has a very versatile progeny of show horses, working hunters and eventers. Duke’s dam is by dressage stallion Donnersong, giving duke the paces that make him really stand out from the crowd.

 

Duke has currently got 49 BD points with a respectful record up to and including Novice producing scores in the high 60’s with some really positive comments.

Duke has very expressive paces with a good quality canter, always works in a natural outline and has the right amount of ability to move up the levels BD.

 

Duke has jumped around plenty of unaffiliated competitions up to and including 1m. He lights up when he’s jumping and thoroughly enjoys it! He will happily jump off a miss stride and help you out if you get it wrong, he is a forward ride jumping but not sharp or silly about it. Would certainly do low level BS.

 

Duke has been out cross country schooling, will jump anything put in front of him and is always looking for the next fence, he is brave and honest and would really excel in this up coming eventing season.

 

Duke is good to hack alone and in company. Has seen some farm and village traffic, does not get hot up in open spaces.

 

Good to shoe, load, travel, catch. Does require some sedation for clipping. Duke is good to do on the ground with a really genuine character that loves fuss and attention. He has been a pleasure to have on the yard.
