Paddington is a striking and attractive horse with beautiful, elegant movement. By Hawkbill out of a Three Valleys mare, he is a full Thoroughbred however, he was never bred to race and has never been produced for racing, therefore he has never raced or been in training. With his temperament, presence and way of going, many mistake him for an Irish Sport Horse.

 

Paddington has a wonderful temperament and is a straightforward, easy ride. Paddington has competed in dressage up to prelim level, where he is consistently complimented on his rhythm, obedience, and three correct, balanced paces. He is level-headed, willing, and shows all the qualities to progress further up the levels.

 

Paddington has also done a good amount of unaffiliated showjumping, comfortably around 80cm, with the scope and ability to go higher. He is brave to a fence without being strong, maintains a consistent rhythm, and is forgiving, happily jumping from a missed stride.

 

He has been cross-country schooling and completed a small one-day event, taking on steps, ditches, and water with confidence. He covers the ground well and would make a super low-level eventer for someone wanting to have fun and be competitive.

 

Out hacking, Paddington is sensible both alone and in company. He is accustomed to farm and village traffic, is not spooky, and thoroughly enjoys a pub ride.

 

A genuinely kind and willing horse, Paddington is eager to please and always ready to learn. He is now looking for a loving home where he can continue to progress and be enjoyed.
