Willa is a beautiful easy going mare that has been an absolute pleasure to deal with.

She is a sought after type as she is traditionally Irish bred by black and amber clover out of a mare by King of Shannon. She moves well, jumps with courage and has a very sane and trainable brain.

Willa is schooling well on the flat, she has 3 nice balanced paces, she has competed at numerous dressage competitions and has always done well. Currently schooling at prelim/novice level. She would easily do well in a dressage home, she loves to school and train and never sours.

Willa has been showjumping recently at 1m, and has done a handful of british novices and discoveries on a ticket. She is a careful jumper and will jump off any stride. She is not phased by fillers etc, keeps a nice rhythm and gives you a lovely feel over a fence. 

​

Willa has done lots of cross country schooling, and competed at a couple of BE80 and training events She is brave and forward. She absolutely loves this discipline, and with a little more schooling and experience she would easily go on to event to a fair level.

​

She is good to hack alone and in company. She has seen heavy farm traffic and village traffic. Good in open spaces. 

Willa is currently competition fit so no complete novices please!

She is a saint on the ground and is good to clip, catch, with the farrier etc. She is not Mare-ish. We have owned this mare since she was 2 years old, so ensuring she has the perfect home is our priority.

​

She has a couple of sarcoids removed under her belly. This mare is very sane, she does not need riding every day, always happy to have a week off and pick up exactly where you left off.
