Pie is a very handsome gelding that has been an absolute pleasure to have on the yard. he has 3 smart paces which the judges love, and has won almost every test he's done with us here! ​

Pie schools very well on the flat, currently working at elementary level, and having won his last novice test. We feel he will excell in this area and would be a prime candidate to be very competitive at BD. He knows his basic lateral work, and is very willing and eager to learn, making every ride a fun ride.

He has previously evented to BE100, we have also done some BS with him at novice and disco, he has a very talented jump and adjustable stride. He is straight to skinnies, and is happy to jump ditches, water etc. He is not phased by fillers or planks, and has had some great top 5 placing out UA and BS. We have been out training with him where he is happy to follow or lead over jumps, and doesn't get strong or silly. So could also continue his BE / BS career!​  

He is good to hack alone and in company, polite when out cantering. He has seen heavy farm traffic and village traffic with no issues, though will have the odd spook at a plastic bag! Good in open spaces.  ​

Pie is not suited to a complete novice as he likes someone to help place him on the correct stride when jumping.

Pie is a dream to deal with on the ground, he loves nothing more than standing out in the sun for a good groom, he is good to clip, bath, shoe, load etc.
