Freddy is the most adorable horse with all the right attributes to go on and up the levels BS and all the experience to jump well 1.20+ for an amateur rider.

He is by For Pleasure, a world renowned stallion who competed at the highest level showjumping, known for his technique bravery and rideability. Freddy is then out of a mare by Quidam Junior I, he has all the blood and ability you’d expect from such proven breeding.

 

He has jumped plenty of 1.20m and 1.30m classes affiliated with an amateur rider, happily taking a miss stride and always looking to help you out. He had a go at 1.40m last year, jumping two tracks with little issue, showing he has the scope and talent to go on, but is equally as happy jumping around the lower tracks. He is by far one of the bravest horses I have had the pleasure of owning.

 

Freddy is good at a show, he is a genuine saint. He hacks alone and in company, good in open spaces and with traffic, he is good to do on the ground, and has never napped, bucked or reared. That said, he is still a competition horse so wouldn’t be suited to a complete novice rider.

 

He travels in all types of transport and will happily stand on the lorry on his own. Good to catch, shoe, clip etc, and is a pleasure to have around with a very friendly character and a temperament to die for.

 

We have had this wonderful horse for the past 2 years, and he has been a much-loved member of the yard. A change in direction for the business means he is now for sale, and his home is extremely important to us.
