Spike is well bred for eventing, he is by Nazar out of a mare by Kings Master, so he is well bred and very well related in the eventing world. He is a fantastic model of a horse, an ideal type bred for eventing. He also has relatives competing internationally.

Spike is one of the most lovable horses on the ground, he loves fuss and attention and will happily be the most annoying horse on the yard!

Currently schooling at prelim/novice level dressage, he has the brain and the paces to do well in this sphere. He learns quickly and is very trainable. He has three floaty paces and is eager to please. He always gets pleasing comments from the judges, and is marked well. 

​

Spike is easily jumping courses of 90/1m and is not phased by fillers etc. He will jump off any stride and would easily be ridden by teenagers. He has attended numerous training shows and unaffiliated showjumping competitions. He has been cross country schooled and is ready now to go out eventing. 

​

Hacks alone and in company, will have the odd spook but is by no means nasty, does not hot up. Good in traffic.

Good to shoe, box, clip etc. Very easy horse on the ground.
