Marcus is a beautiful well put together gelding with three nice paces. He was mainly a happy hacker before coming to us taking part in beach rides and hacking around the countryside. 

 

Since being with us, we have working on Marcus' schooling and whilst it is now more established than when he first arrived, he is still green in the school. He is proving eager to learn and thoroughly enjoys his work!

He is brilliant to hack both alone and in company and whilst most of our hacking is on quite lanes, he has proved good in the little traffic he has seen.

Marcus can act a little bit riggy both on the ground and ridden. He doesn't do anything malicious with this, he can just get a little bit distracted and vocal. We have him turned out next to mares separated by only an electric fence and he is very respectful of this.
